Yes, it's absolutely possible to get an email advertisement out to the TECHWR-L Community. Read on!

In brief, do not post ads or announcements directly to the TECHWR-L list. Instead, all ads and announcements are published in the TECHWR-L Premium Ads mailing, which is compiled by the Admin and sent once per day directly to the over 3500 TECHWR-L subscribers. This costs advertisers $50/week, which is about $7 per insertion to an audience of technical communication professionals.

Submit your plain-text ad through the contact form, then follow the links thereafter to submit your payment online.

Site Ads (Classifieds)

Alternatively, you're welcome to post classified ads at no cost through this site. You'll find the classifieds at http://www.techwr-l.com/classified
After you've registered and logged into the site, you can post new Classified ads by going to My TECHWR-L->Post New Content and choosing the Classified ad option.

In a similar vein, you can post upcoming events (again at
no charge) to the TECHWR-L Event Calendar at
http://www.techwr-l.com/event.

All other TECHWR-L Site ads are associated with TECHWR-L Sponsorships.

  what allows us to cover costs of maintaining the servers,
  upgrading hardware and software, and purchasing content
  for the TECHWR-L site.
• Ads and announcements in the Premium Daily mailing are
  more accessible to readers because they are not lost in
  the sea of TECHWR-L list messages.
• The TECHWR-L list remains focused on technical writing
  related issues, not cluttered with ads and announcements.

How much does it cost for ads? My organization is a non-profit, by the way.

All ads and announcements included in the Premium Daily
mailing cost $50 per week.
