Sandra asked, "Does anyone else have experience with features
that are specifically requested by customers, but rarely used
once a purchase is made?"

We call them "checkbox features." For a number of reasons, often
perceived compliance to a standard, customers and potential customers
want to know we have a particular feature. But next to no one (often
absolutely no one) uses it.
