A Techwhirler said "...Prime (if not exactly technical) examples are the
infamous Chevy Nova ("doesn't go" in Spanish)and Coca Cola ("bite the wax
tadpole" in Chinese) translations.

These two have a high probability of being urban legends, not real truths.


"no va" in spanish does really mean "it doesn't go." i can't vouch for the coca cola bit though....
