I went on a job interview yesterday...don't worry, my boss reads this
list and knows where I was yesterday.

It was an extrensive interview (6 people)...flew to Boston from NJ,
rental car, etc., all on their dime.

I brought my portfolio. In it is three types of samples, the sections
tabbed. I also have tabs for Letters of Recomendations, Awards,
Personal Congratulations, Certificates. During that interview, one
of them asked to see my samples.

I unzipped the black leather portfolio binder and remarked (half
under my breath) "We'll go pass the extensive list of recomendations"
and started fliping tabs to get to the samples. He stopped me, took
the binder, and HE started reading the letters.

The point? NEVER NOT bring ANYTHING that may, in any way, shape or
form, make you wish that you'd brought it with you under
circumstances that you hadn't accounted for.
