Thanks to all who replied - as I thought it was something simple that
I'd missed. I'd checked para borders, etc and set to NONE but I'd
missed PAGE border. Obviously there's some key combination that puts a
border at the bottom of the page. Of course being Word it may just have
decided to put one in for fun!.
