I found an interesting site on the government's plain language initiative. The
site contains a couple of good documents on how to write more clearly and
succinctly. Here is the url:

If you click the "Getting Started in Plain Language" link it will take you to a
page that has links to several documents, including "Writing User-Friendly
Documents." I believe the site also has tutorials and examples as well.
