At the risk of being a hypocrite, (back in the days when I did short
documents, I couldn't see the advantages of styles) I guess most of us
have a few horror stories to tell.

A lot of mine have more to do with hardware than software.

One time I was working on a project, I had one of the girls in the
office come into my cubicle and complain that her printer wasn't
printing. I said I'd take a look at it. I got to her cubicle, looked
at the little lights on the front of the printer, opened the paper
tray, and put more paper in the printer.

The printer worked fine after that.

>An executive AA asked me if I could help her with a Word document.
Sure, I

>She wanted point pages in a document she was working on. I
discouraged that
>idea.
>"So I have to retype all my page numbers!" she exclaimed.
>"Huh?" I, ever so articulate, responded, dreading what was coming
next.
>She then proceded to show me her TOC, which she had laborously typed
in

piece of

>Have a Good Day.
