Subject:Re: Use of "however"? From:Bill Swallow <bill_swallow -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 30 Nov 2000 11:19:38 -0800 (PST)
However you choose to use 'however' is a matter of
style, however it is possible to use 'however'
incorrectly, as in "He used to know how until he was
hit in the head. Sadly, he won't know however again."
I think you should ask your editor why your use of
however was wrong. Get your editor's preference, state
yours, and then work out a happy medium with the
editor. Some things are too vague or too broad to
decide on without contemplation.
