I happened across the site of Adler & Robins books, agents and book
packagers in Washington, DC, where they offer their suggestions and examples
for book proposals. They distinguish computer books from trade books, as
they should, for there is quite a difference, as most trade book authors
discover when they first tackle a computer book. The URL is simple enough,
