Hi Maggie,
I learned Frame after coming from a Quark/Word background. In the
Quark/Word world, there are templates and documents and those are two
distinct kinds of documents, identifiable by their behavior and file
extensions.

In Frame, there is no separate "template" file type. Any document can be
a template.

For some reason, this was a huge stumbling block for me. After I figured
that out, I didn't have too many problems. The interface is clunky, but
you can get beyond that.

As far as assistance with learning goes, I found the "Dummies" book to
be very helpful in getting the basics. I had issues with the Neuburger
book, which statement is quite probably considered to be heresy, but
there you have it.

Hope that helps,
Lisa Wright
