Chuck Martin wishes: <<Now if I had just taken more than one typing class in
high school..... :)>>

Me too; would've gotten a lot more dates in high school, since not a lot of
guys took those classes. <g> But actually, there's no longer much need to
take a formal typing class, since plenty of software exists to teach you how
to type. I quickly went from being a fast four-finger typist to something
like 80 wpm with the help of a charming young lady named Mavis Beacon, who
exists solely in software form so far as I know. "Mavis Beacon Teaches
Typing" is widely available, for Mac and PC, for not many shekels, and was
one of the first programs around to use artificial intelligence to help you
type faster; for example, it analyzes the types of mistakes you make most
often and customizes the typing drills to focus on those mistakes. Some of
the drills involve typing out texts (interesting ones, such as from the
Guinness Book of Records), others are arcade games (e.g., you race another
car by typing, and the faster and more accurately you type, the faster you
go), and there's even a metronome to help you learn rhythm. The program
switches between modes periodically to make the drills less boring. Highly
recommended--even if attending a class might get you more dates. <g>
