Have any of you had experience putting large Excel workbooks into HTML
format (using the save as feature) and putting them on an intranet? I'm
doing that with a certain degree of success, but I'd sure like some input
from someone who's done it before.

There is some information I need to retain at the top of each sheet
(filename, which is the document number) when updates occur. Updates often
appear as whole new sheets that must replace existing sheets. However, the
new ones come from another department and don't have my headers on them. Is
cut and paste for whole sheets of information viable? Is there a way to
enter the formula for filename on one worksheet and have it appear across
the whole book? Or is there a way to make headers appear on the screen in
the htm version (so far, I've only seen headers on printouts of .xls
spreadsheets). As you can tell, I'm thrashing about and am not a power Excel

I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks mucho.
