Hello Donna, and others,
My preference is to hyphenate e-mail, on-line, and print-out. I
customarily write "web site"; I don't know if there is a preference for
"web-site" among some writers. Your question has made me think that the
hyphenated version (web-site) would be better. I definitely do not like

What's the preferred use for this among our tech whirlers:
website, which appears to be gaining acceptance according to some
sources, along with email, printout, online and others.
The sources seem to indicate disparity, so I believe use by the group
will dictate what I'll decide for our style.
