I have considered telecommuting as an option for myself, but rejected
it. I find that I gain a good deal of useful input from conversations
in hallways, chance meetings in the break room and plain old-fashioned
eavesdropping. (Our informal business culture still supports the idea
that information spreads by osmosis without the need for formal
channels.)
