Subject:Long URLs in emails From:"W words" <wongword -at- ozemail -dot- com -dot- au> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Sat, 24 Feb 2001 21:04:55 +1100
In an email how can I ensure that
1 a long URL is not cut between lines and becomes unlinkable ?
2 the long URL between lines doesn't become totally unlinkable when the
email is forwarded to someone else and the < signs come into play?
I have read that there is software to shorten URLs for this. Is this
correct? Is it easy to set up?
Is there a way of maintaining the link without this software?
