FrameMaker absolutely has document comparison. It gives you a summary
of changes, plus a composite document that merges the two documents,
showing additions and deletions. Further, the additions and deletions
are conditional text, so you can hide either or both. Finally, the
summary includes hypertext links that can take you to the indicated
changes. Oh yes, and compare also works for books (FrameMaker
collections of files).
