Eric's post seems to answer all the concerns I had about squeezing in all
the useful technical data on a subject into a two-hour session, diversity of
audience experience, etc.

An online resource is obviously a much more intelligent approach, if a lot
less fun. Maybe a future conference--located in Seattle of course--can play
off an existing online resource.
