Speaking of Functional Specs . . .

In the one I am currently editing, there are numerous references to
supplemental documents. Should I italicize these titles? Put them in
quotations? Leave them be? I'm looking for actual style guidelines, not
just opinions (got plenty of my own.); I've looked through what I consider
to be "the Biggies", but can't find any mention of what to do.
