Swati:

Use the Mail Merge function to do this. The wizard for this function will
walk you through creating your template, attaching the data source, and
inserting the merge fields.

I have not tried to use this function as a front-end to a database, but it
may be possible.

Good luck.

Subject: Linking Word and excel to database

Does anyone knows how to link word documents to a live database.
My requirement is that I have a live database which contains resumes.
I want to create a template in word from where I can call any record from
the database so that it can be viewed by anyone.
Also I would like to add/ edit details from the template and save them in
the database..
How do I do this..??

Any one who can guide me on this. Thanks in advance.
