I'll make it even more simple. During my last round of hiring for TechWriter
II, approximately 75% of the resumes I received contained either typos,
spelling errors, egregious use of multiple fonts, and/or poor layout. As far
as I'm concerned, if you are applying for a techwriting position and you
can't present a clean, concise, informative, extremely readable and
completely error free resume, you are not qualified for the job. By
definition.
