"Managing..." contains information not appropriate for beginning
students,
not necessarily for use as a textbook......."
I don't know that I would agree that "Managing..." is not appropriate
for beginning students. While it is extremely comprehensive and perhaps
overwhelming for a beginner, I think it provides a great deal of
background of how projects progress in an ideal (but not necessarily the
real) world and gives insight to the overall project. I do agree that
"Managing...." isn't appropriate as a textbook but it is a terrific
reference tool.
