One of the things Bob might have to do without is the use of his PC during non-working hours. My PC at work is full of work-related stuff. My PC at home is full of personal stuff. Using one PC for both purposes might not be comfortable.

Of course, he also will have to figure out how much he can deduct from his taxes for the home office, percentage of time the office is used for work, supplies, etc. All that record keeping.

How much could you realistically expect to get paid? A decent PC can be had
for about $899. In an average year, there are 2080 working hours. That comes
to $0.43/hour, or $3.46/day. Is this worth worrying about?
