Christine says, "Realistically, an awful lot of end
users know very little about running Windows. They can find the Start
button and use the mouse, but if they need to do anything more advanced,
some of them will need help."

In my last position, I was writing a website for insurance agents to become
"Computer Literate and Web-Enabled". I sent a meeting notice to the
supposed "Computer Experts" who were reviewing the site before it was
released. One of the people called me and said "When I accepted the
meeting, the notice disappeared." I had to tell her to go into her Outlook
Calendar and double-click on the meeting name. Several of the other experts
were in awe that I was able to answer all of their questions before they
were asked...and put it in words that they understood.

Of course, I used as few syllables as possible :)
