I highly recommend Lateralus. ;)

Seriously, perhaps Documentum? I haven't used a documentation
revision/source control utility in this way. I've used source control
utilities, but they're not very robust when it comes to actual documentation
(better with code, as it's structured). I still think a human eye is the
best tool for the job in this case... Maybe someone else has a tool that
will do what you need. By the way, what file formats are you dealing with?
