Mornin', Steve!

This has happened to me before. It was my experience that, unless you Save as... a new template (such as Company.dot), then send the new template out to add to the c:\template folder to be used when people want to create that particular document type, the old Normal.dot can't be overridden when you want to create a new document. Sound right?? This happened once when helpdesk staff wanted folks to delete a wazzu virus; it didn't work until the old normal.dot was deleted FIRST. In our case, the virus was replicated for people who weren't infected in the first place.

Otherwise everyone would have to copy the new styles/autotext into their normal.dot from a .doc or .dot file using the Organizer (stupid name).

Or I just may be drunk.
