Currently being thown into the job market.... I can say that if you have 6 plus
years experience, you're pretty well off. If you have less than that, it is
tough. Although I have over four years tech writing, I'm still running into all
the same problems I was four years ago - being up against people with more
experience. Heck, I just got a "don't let the front door hit you on the
backside" after standing in line for 2 hours to talk to Boeing today because
they were looking for 7 1/1 years plus and wouldn't even talk to anyone with
less than that.
