We just found out yesterday that we have several thousand dollars of
"use it or lose it" money that we have to spend ASAP. We've got to turn
in our purchase requests on Friday.

We can spend it on software or hardware (other than basic PCs, which
come out of another budget category).

We have a team of two technical writers/testers, one web designer, four
HTML coders, and assorted management types.

We already have the following software packages:
* Adobe FrameMaker 6.0 (but not the SGML version)
* Macromedia Dreamweaver Ultradev 4.0
* Adobe Acrobat 5.0
* Adobe Photoshop 5.5
* Adobe PageMaker 7.0 (on order)
* Macromedia CourseBuilder
* An ancient version of Visio (that's one thing that we need to upgrade)
* Microsoft Office Suite

We're currently running on a Win95 platform (sigh), but we're going to
upgrade to Win2K this fall.

That's the environment. If you were in our shoes, what would you buy?
Please send responses directly to me instead of to the list. I'll compile
the results and post them to the list, if anyone is interested.

Thanks.
