Does anyone have experience with the Database Doctor CGI script? I need to
find out if one can implement it without actually knowing Perl.

Not exactly tech writing... but this is a project that fell in my lap
because I need to update a reference file that the company used to do in
WinHelp. To make a long story short, I think a flat file database is a
better format for this information. Now I need to know if I'm getting in
over my head. (I know HTML, so customizing the search form is not a
problem.) I'd email the people who sell it, but their contact form is
geared toward their other products and services.

Off-list replies are fine -- I can summarize responses for the list later
on.

Christine
