WMF: Pretty much Windows only.

PNG: A raster format. Works in FrameMaker though and should produce
consistently small file sizes. A poor way to represent vectors for printing.

EPS: Dunno why you are having trouble. Print an EPS from Visio with a 1-bit
preview and you should be all set. Works well with PDF. Otherwise, remember
to use a PostScript printer.

AI: FrameMaker still does not accept AI files. Save your AI as EPS.

CGM: Not supported much anymore. I'm sure FM supports some versions of CGM.
>From what I remember, this can either be a raster or vector format. Dunno.

SVG: An XML-format graphic that is unsupported by FrameMaker.

The bottom line: use EPS with a 1-bit preview.

Cheers,

Sean
