Without actually seeing your branching, I will disagree. MOST (not all) of
these types of batch files are fairly simplistic when it comes to branching.
Thus, it is closer to a long sequential process, with some steps being
regularly skipped. This should be a cinch to flowchart across multiple
pages.

If its batched by JCL, is I am certain this will be the case.

Generally, it looks like this (pseudo)

TEST RECORDS
if test was NOT OK, run some fixes

TEST RECORDS
if test was NOT OK, run some fixes

TEST RECORDS
if test was NOT OK, run some fixes
