Can we get some elaboration as to why a PDF shouldn't be used in this way,
or are you going to be one of those people who posts an invalidated opinion?
Or do you simply not know why? I hate to point fingers, but these one-line
dismissals really p' me off. If you have a valid argument, please present
it, otherwise, you're of no help to anyone posting the reply you posted.

PDF is a very versatile medium for presenting information electronically.
People use it in many different ways, and yes, I've seen it used as
described below (though haven't done it myself). I've seen PDF used for
online paper delivery (which seems to be the norm and an awful waste of the
technology's potential) and I've seen it used as creatively as an
interactive CD-ROM walk-through.

Possibly because few would *want* to use a PDF in this way.
