Often. I've been around a long time, and I've seen
products get clobbered in the trade press because
of lousy documentation and support. You don't
think that affected their bottom line? Just ask
them -- the ones who managed to get their act
together and stay in business after being trounced
in the product comparison charts.

It certainly affects *my* buying decisions when I'm
advising and recommending to management.
