Belatedly .......

Thanks Steve. However, I've explicitly followed the directions shown in
the help files and in the books ....... repeatedly.........over and
over.........many times..........and still no joy. I've repeatedly
double-checked heading styles, re-formatted docs, replaced headings, and
anything else I can dream up. My page numbers still lack chapter
numbers.
