Unfortunately the formatting is too complex, and each table is differently
structured as regards its cell breakages. Also, inserting rows etc can play
havoc, depending on where you do it, and I am sick of hand-formatting the
end results. They have standard components (top row, 1st column) but that's
it.

Why not just format a table the exact way you want it and then copy/paste
it as needed throughout your document? That would take far less than 4
hours and acheive the same results.
