It's been my experience that the "final paycheck" is usually a paper check.
Something to do with taxes I think. However, it's almost always spelled out
in
the severance agreement. When I didn't get my final paycheck on what would
have
been payday, I called my former employer. Turns out they FedExed the final
check to all the former employees. I was already working, so I wasn't home to
sign for it. I had them messenger it to me at my new job.
