One of the best proofreaders I ever worked with was our group admin
assistant. She caught things that none of the rest of us ever even saw, even
after multiple passes. And English was not her first language. We haven't
worked together in years, but how I wish she could still proof my stuff! No
one can match her.

In this job, I have our office manager do test runs of the Help systems I
create. Her unabashed frankness is more valuable to me than all the other
reviewers combined.

Forget titles; take the reviews from whomever will give 'em.
