Hmmm....

Too bad you didn't know this before-hand. I'm sure we on this list could've
given lots of useful advice. And then others (like me) could've given even
more useless advice. For example, I would've suggested that your
presentation be a 30-minute experiential journey into Scream Therapy.

What you went through was just bizarre (IMNHO). This is a perfect example of
what I have termed A.M.S. (Airline Magazine Syndrome). Executives get on
airplanes, and have nothing to do for the next few hours. So they reach in
front of them, slooooowwwlllllyy pull out that cursed airline magazine from
the pocket in the seat, and flip to "What's New in Business". (doesn't
matter which airline or magazine - they all have 'em). They get a little bit
of knowledge and come back to the office and say "I want to implement
______". Usually this is manifested in the IT department as weird orders -
"Gee, Bob, I hear that new ion-photo drexler-based bionic ant can make our
network run faster - have it implemented by next week."

In your case, some HR exec got a bad case of A.M.S. "Hey, wouldn't it be
cool if we interviewed everyone at the same time?"
HTDH :-)
