I'm puzzled by the need to know exactly what to expect at an interview. So
they throw a wild pitch at you - so what? That's going to happen on the
job, too.

Somebody will walk in one day and say "you know that manual we need from
you next month? Well, we need it this week." Do you tell them you simply
won't put up with that sort of thing? Or do you look for a solution?
(Note: If you work someplace where that doesn't happen, please post a link
to your company's "careers" Web page!) :)

To me the interview is like that. If you bristle at the interview when I
say or do something you aren't expecting, what conclusion am I supposed to
draw about what it would be like to work with you?
