"I thought I'd share the growing list."

After a lot of years my favorite is still "prepend." This came from a
programmer I worked with. His reasoning was if "append" means to put at the
end, then "prepend" must mean to put at the beginning.

Wouldn't it be nice if language was that logical.;)
