Something I constantly remember when posting to this list,
and something I occasionally remind others of (off list):

Eventually, inevitably, I'll be looking for work, and may
run into a fellow techwr-l member. If they remember my
posts to the list, what will they think of me? Am I the
everlasting-know-it-all? The sniper? The guy who tries
to be helpful when he has something to share? The
frustrated-humorist writer of limericks?

If my upbringing (and respect for common courtesy) doesn't
stop me from being obnoxious, my desire to avoid future
trouble frequently (but not always) does.

'course, none of that stops me from posting my crazy
humor - but I'm hoping that someone will want me in their
dept. for the comic relief!
