At my place of work, a Workbook is an activity book we give our clients
after they sign a contract, but before we install any hardware or software.
Clients complete all questions in the Workbook to give us an idea of their
needs. We build/configure our products accordingly. Once the
hardware/software is installed, we use training guides (among other
things)to teach clients how to use our products. The guides are
task-oriented, and provide an overview for each task, as well as a
demonstration/example, and an activity for the user.
