Life imitates TECHWR_L: I just got an e-mail from the engineer who sits next
to me saying that he'd made the following change to the product and he would
do his best to update the installation notes by the end of the day.

Only I'd already read the work instruction he'd got and documented the
change he'd just made, so I sent him the documentation right back, which
disconcerted him considerably. <g> That was fun.

MY favourite maxim is "Good, cheap, fast. Pick two."

Works for food AND technical writing.
