You might want to include a known path to SGML/XML. Certainly within the next 5 years just about everybody will be using XML as the format of choice for documentation. FrameMaker can do it now, or you can convert your legacy docs to structure fairly easily whenever the time is right. Granted, Microsoft is surely busy at making an entry in this market, but FrameMaker is already there.
