Arghh...I hate it when I think I am right, but can't back it up...
Recently, I was complaining about the harsh conditions of our workplace and
this sentence came out.
"It's a pretty rough day, steak for lunch, a latte in my hand, dogs running
around, and I am sure there will be beer drank this afternoon."
To which I was corrected...
"Drunk, its drunk, not drank."
And of course, that is why I am here. I don't have a definitive answer as
to why.
I also have a problem with ate/eaten. Call it a weakness. I know someone
out there has an answer...so educate me please.
