In my former life as a system analyst, I attended a very helpful training
session years ago on spec writing -- still remember it.
They used examples of "Good", "Bad", and "Ugly". Very humorous, got
information across without too much pain. (Oh yes, my spec was chosen as
"Ugly" because I used to mark everything up with side notes & yellow
stickies. Still, I got the information across.)
