Ahem... After my first posting, I have been enlightened about the role
Andy Rooney plays in contemporary American culture. Having been unaware
of that role (I'm not living in the US), I had taken his column to be
meant seriously.

I apologize for having posted an irrelevant comment, and my hat is off to
Mr Rooney for sounding just like an authentic nitpicker.
