Note: met 2 and exceeded 2 of a total of 4 expectations (quite a word!) for previous year -- my first on the job. And large old cat is washing himself in tax receipts basket right now.

This past week: angry, tired, over-worked, used. Usually: compliant,
complacent, biddable. These people didn't know what they were getting....

Karen Black, who found out she was going to be reporting to a manager
instead of a director 2 hours before the annual "achievement" review.
