FWIW,

I just looked at our site statistics for last month (corporate information site, almost entirely accessed from corporate browsers rather than random home PCs).

We don't have enough visitors to make a strong statistical argument, but here's what I'm seeing:

IE 6 and 5.5 are running neck and neck, with IE 5.0 not far behind. NN6 consists, apparently, of a single user--me, checking the site from home. IE is running about 85% overall.

These figures have shifted dramatically in favor of IE in general and IE 6 in particular over the last several months. It wasn't all THAT long ago that IE and NN were roughly even (maybe a year and a half ago?).

So while the published figures are more extreme than our own experience, we are definitely trending in the same direction.

Dick
