I didn't like my proposed FM -> HTML -> POD -> MAN kludge, so I looked
around a little for something better.

This question had come up on techwr-l before, and someone was looking for
MIF2MAN, and it didn't look like anyone had given the list a pointer or
code. So, after a little work I located MIF2MAN.

I've put it on my server:

www.apollonian.net/tw/filters/mif2man.tar.gz

I haven't used it; I can't tell you how well it works. I'm just beginning to
test it out, but because this question has come up before, I thought it
might be helpful to others too.

Hello all:

I have a client that has asked me to convert my FrameMaker 6.0 files to
UNIX man pages. The goal is to preserve formatting so I don't have to
spend time reformatting the text files.

Has anyone done this? Is there a utility I should can use?

Thanks, Larry
