To add a border in Photoshop, I find the easiest way is to use the Stroke
command. Ctrl-A (or Cmd-A on a Mac) selects all (your whole image), then
Edit->Stroke. The dialog box allows you to choose the width, color and
position (inside, outside or centered) of the outline relative to the image.
